CED Mosebach Pittsburgh Home

Product Categories

Mosebach was founded in 1924 by Karl Mosebach. Mosebach originally supplied electrical gear for coal mines in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. After his passing, Ralph Nadler and Harold Evans grew the business further, including the distribution of Allen-Bradley components, among others.

In 1998, Mosebach purchased the resistor business of Eaton/Cutler Hammer. Supplying resistors for EMD and GE locomotives has provided an avenue to further expand the product line. Resistors are now used for DB systems for Locomotives and off-highway mining trucks, load banks, electric heaters and bug extermination systems.
